Uganda sits at the crossroads of East and Central Africa, located between Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, the DRC and South Sudan.
Uganda is known for its mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, but it doesn’t stop there. It is also a paradise for primate lovers of all kinds, with one of the highest primate densities in the world. The vast number of primates is truly unique from other East African countries and Uganda also has healthy populations of lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, giraffe and a variety of antelope, including the Uganda kob. Uganda has the best the continent has to offer: the tallest mountain range in Africa, the source of the Nile and the continent’s largest lake.

Luxury, Mid-Range or Budget: This adventure has a combination of accommodations due to the nature of the Arctic.
Join Michael and Kati as we travel to Alaska and then to the Arctic for this life-changing adventure. Starting in Anchorage, we head north, stopping for a plane ride onto a glacier. After, we head deep inside Denali National Park where we typically encounter grizzly bears, moose and other animals and birds. Then we are off to the Arctic and experience Polar Bears in the wild. We typically see between 25 and 60 bears while there so bring your camera. We will provide warm parkas for you.
This adventure checks off so may bucket list items: Beautiful Alaskan and Arctic Scenery; Polar Bears in the Wild; Grizzlys and Moose; Mount Denali and a glacier landing; and a lot more.
